Full disclosure: This is a 2-hour game. It took me at least 8 hours to complete it the first time around, but I loved every second of it and eventually figured out WTF I was doing.

The result of these miserable efforts is that I was finally able to do a perfect walkthrough in the style of a movie, which I share in hopes of helping out anyone who sucks as much as I first did.

I love the atmosphere, the setting, the gameplay, the story… Although I’ll never turn down a chance to hack and slash monsters, I enjoyed the way it handled the survival element, with the only options being to run or hide in lockers or under beds. And even then, the bad guys tend to find you.

Using the old-school camera throughout was an awesome touch, and I’m pretty sure I screamed out loud when I temporarily lost it, not to mention the cracked lens that followed. The ending was pretty dark but absolutely wild and not at all what I expected. All in all a fantastic game that I highly recommend to anyone who can handle the tension and gore.
