Apple Butter
Ingredients
- 4 lbs chopped apples (cored and cut into eighths)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
- Place apples and spices into slow cooker and use hands to toss together.
- Cook on low for 8 hours, stirring every hour or two.
- Once cool enough, blend in food processor until smooth or desired consistency.
Notes
Freeze in smaller amounts from 1/4 cup - 1 cup depending on how fast you'll use it. Thaws quickly in a bowl of hot water.
