Fruit Crumble Bars
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups almond flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 1/8 cup maple syrup
- 3 cups berries or chopped fruit
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Stir flour, vanilla, oil, and syrup into crumbly mixture.
- Set aside 1/2 cup of crumble for topping.
- Place remaining crumble in parchment-lined 8 x 8 baking pan and use hands to press firmly and evenly into tightly packed crust.
- Spread fruit evenly on top of crust.
- Spread topping evenly over the berries.
- Bake for 45 minutes until topping is golden brown.
- Cool completely before removing parchment from pan and slicing into bars.
Notes
Recommend serving warmed with fat free whipped cream, though it makes a good cold on-the-go snack too.
