Place apples and spices into slow cooker and use hands to toss together.
Cook on low for 8 hours, stirring every hour or two.
Once cool enough, blend in food processor for 30-60 seconds until smooth.
Notes
Freeze in smaller amounts from 1/4 cup - 1 cup depending on how fast you'll use it. Thaws quickly in a bowl of hot water.You can transfer apples to large bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes immediately after cooking and before blending to speed things up.
